Because stakes and budgets are higher in commercial voice over work, I tend to record commercial voice over sessions with the client directing me via Source Connect, ISDN bridge or Zoom.

I’ve had as many as 12 people listening in and directing a session simultaneously (which can feel like an auditory zoo!) but normally there are just a handful – the director, the agency, the client and the sound engineer.

A NOTE ON COMMERCIAL VOICE OVER RATES

Non-union voice over rates for commercial work vary greatly depending on the platform where the ad will appear and the duration of time it will be broadcast.

THIS DOWNLOADABLE GUIDE by Voices.com gives a rough estimate of non-union rates for broadcast and non-broadcast projects.

As an experienced voice talent, my rates tend to be at the top end of non-union work. However, if you have a fixed budget for a project you are welcome to share it with me and I will let you know if I can accommodate it.

Step Two

Once you approve my quote and send me your final script I record your project

You can leave me to record alone, as many clients do, or direct the session live via Source Connect, ISDN Bridge, Zoom or Skype.

Step Three

Review/Revise/Payment

Your quote includes a free pickup session for any small changes you might need. Payment is due via PayPal, Stripe or bank transfer on completion of project.
